New Fishing Report- July 1st, 2010

Well the fishing has been red hot in and around Ipswich Bay so far this summer. The Striped Bass fishing has been about as good as it gets, live macs have been the key. Had Meredith and her group out for a spectacular day of livelining large Bass, limited out in a few hours once we got on the fish using live Mackeral. As the waters warm up a bit it will be tougher to get the live baits as Bluefish will be invading our waters soon. On the Tuna front, well we got a nice 95" market fish this past week, unfortunately broke off another but that's how it rolls. The fish are here and now is the time to book a trip, I only have so many dates left and then we're into the fall. Flounder fishing has been on again off again. Right now it's on again. The Cod and Haddock fishing has been a consistent bite out on Jeffries.

Tight Lines,

Capt. Mauro
