Bass, Bass, Bass.  That's the story of the week.  There are incredible amounts of Striped Bass in the Merrimack nowadays.  Seems like everywhere I look rods are doubled over.  The Mackeral are STILL here, wow.  I have never in my days seen Macs like this around so late in the year.  Makes finding live bait simple, we're all going to get spoiled!  Some days the Stripers are larger than others with many keepers coming over the rail, others we are overwhelmed with the smaller fish.  But what fun, constant action.  This is the Merrimac at its finest.  There are 20-35 lb fish coming from the mouth also, just have to weed throught the smaller ones.  On the offshore front the Cod/Haddock pick is good right now, just have to keep moving to stay away from the dogfish, the Tuna fishing is just getting ready to go, I can feel it, there's just too much bait, and the Sharks should be moving in soon.  Don't hesitate to give me a call if you have any questions or are looking for an update.  Till next tide.
