Another Great Day Cod Fishing

Headed out to same area as we'd been fishing for a couple weeks now, as we put lines in the bite was very slow, we were going through a slack but once the tide got going it really turned on as fish over 40lbs and a couple closer to 60lb. were coming over the rail, all fish were caught on jigs. This fishery will only go on so much longer so if you're interested in catching some really BIG Codfish now is the time to get out there. On the Striper front the mouth seemed to be the place to be the past week with fish up to 30lbs there every day, live macs seem to be the ticket. The Bluefin Tuna ticket seems to be to the south, will start to target them after this next week passes and then it's off after the Tunas.

Tight Lines,
